I'd love to stay in a hotel or apartment with direct beach access, any ideas please?

I ended up in Tolon in the 1990s on an 'allocated on arrival' deal. Absolutely loved it. Gorgeous beach, fabulous port of Nafplion nearby and Epidaurus not too far away. Would love to go back some day.

We stayed here a few years ago. There's a gate onto the boardwalk to the beach. Lovely apartments, clean and spacious. Don't know what the food is like, we prefer self catering so try somewhere different every day

This beach is hidden and always pretty empty, not direct but opposite The San Giorgio Hotel in Kefalonia.

I stayed at a hotel years ago in Paphos that had beach access, The Elysium.

Cefalu in Sicily, Jet2 and Easyjet Holidays have offers there. Astro suites Hotel right in the sandy beach. But it’s scorcio in August, September will be much nicer.

Not a direct beach access but the Palmeras playa in Sa Coma Majorca is only a few minutes walk to the beach from the door by the pool. It is accessed via key card to gain entry and locks permanently after 9pm so you do need to go in via reception after that. You can walk up to Cala Millor either along the beach or along the road. It's about 5 miles but relatively easy road side. The beach way is harder but probably easier in sensible shoes due to the rocks. I wore sandals and spent most of the walk over the rocks cutting the backs of my ankles. There was a hotel in Cala Llonga Ibiza called the hotel Sirenis that had direct beach access to a gorgeous beach. I'm not sure if that one is still open though. The hotel Palladium which is opposite is though. Not sure how far it is walking wise but there is a town called San Eulalia which is only a short bus ride away. I can't remember if we got the bus there and walked back or if we got the bus both ways.
