Incorrect passport details on booking

Wondering if anyone has ever typed in the incorrect details? I’ve put in an incorrect passport expiry date and we travel
tomorrow. No one is available to talk to today and I’m wondering what will happen.

How long have you got left on your passport and where are you going?

as long as the dates meet entry requirements you will be fine.

Thank you for your reply. Passport has 10 months on it, so well in date. We travel tomorrow, will have to see what happens. Have been told by travel

its not an issue, they will just change it for you at the airport

I’m not sure the airline will even bother changing it or even if they can TBH (be interested to know what actually happens ) and I agree with others it probably won’t be an issue

The passport info you are required to provide ahead of time by most airlines is done to satisfy APIS requirements.

On the day of the flight usually all airline staff are interested in is that the document you present is valid for travel.
