Mitsis Rinela or Grecotel LUXME White Palace?

Hello - looking to book a holiday to Greece for next year. Want a good 5 star hotel with good breakfast, modern rooms, a kids pool and nice sandy beach. Not fussed about entertainment or kids club. We are going outside of school holidays . Would have loved but cannot afford Ikos prices as my budget is max £4k for 2 adults and 1 child (age 4) if it’s an all inc. I’ve narrowed it down to the following 2 places : Mitsis Rinela or Grecotel LUXME White Palace.
can anyone who’s been to either tell me what you thought? Or anyone who’s been to both…which did you prefer? Tia x

I think I will probably just go for the cheapest of these two options but wondered if anyone had been to both. A lot of 5 star hotels I’ve been to aren’t really proper 5 stars and just were too busy, loud music by the pools etc.

forgot to mention that we are more beach rather than pool people too

I also am debating between these 2 hotels! So confused over which area and hotel will be best so interested to see others replies!

Not one of your choices but we are currently at an Ikos which ticks all your boxes

How many nights is that budget for?

NatterNatter50 · 20/07/2024 09:50

@samarrange - that budget is for at least 7 nights all inc. Really really want to go for 10 nights but don’t think I’ll be able to get 10 nights within that budget given prices are sky high now so will have to stick with 7 I think. 😥

@EmlovesArch - keep me posted on what you book and why! Both places look soooo nice and I just can’t decide between the two. They are coming up quite similar in price too unless I’m looking on the wrong sites. Will probably wait for Black Friday sales before booking unless I find a good deal before then.

@se22mother - would have loved an Ikos but that looks like minimum £4.5k for 7 nights with rubbish flight times and that’s without upgrading our room. Agree you get what you pay for though and was tempted to go for that given it’s our last holiday before DC starts school and prices become even higher for us, but I am struggling to justify that price for a short haul break.

I think the prices for IKOS are increasing from yesterday too from what I’ve seen online

Hi, apologies for the delayed response but I’m currently debating the two hotels above and wondering if you went to either in the end and what you thought?
