Sanssouci or Charlottenburg?

In Berlin and only have one day to do one of these. In my shoes, would you go to Potsdam and Sanssouci or Charlottenburg Palace? Not interested in the zoo and we've done the main central sights already.

However, if someone could recommend something for Monday, when all the museums etc are closed, that would be great.

Potsdam.

Parc is a couple of hours to walk around easily, with plenty to see even if you don't get inside the buildings.

Charlottenburg is pretty, but you can walk around it in 15 minutes.

Sanssouci over Charlottenburg for me.

Thank you both. In the event, we slept in, and had something else we needed to do first, so it was already afternoon before we set off, so we went to Charlottenburg, as it sounded from your comments as though we would need more time for Potsdam and Sanssouci.

I'm very slow at going round places and we got the ticket to see everything, so it took all afternoon.

Thinking of Köpenick tomorrow and Spandau on Monday.

We got up & out earlier than expected yesterday, thanks to a fire alarm and having to evacuate the hotel early morning. So we made it to Potsdam, which was absolutely gorgeous. The monumental buildings around the Alter Markt were impressive and the Dutch quarter is charming.

The palaces were shut, because it was Monday, but we walked through the Sanssouci grounds and saw the outsides of the palaces.
