April holiday with small child - Caribbean and similar

Hi all, we have 2 DDs, DD1 has just turned 4 and DD 2 is almost 1. We usually do our big long haul holiday in April as I get 3 weeks off work and DDs school is 3 weeks off. So far since having kids we have done St Lucia and Barbados. We have Orlando on the list for when DDs are either 2/5 or 3/6 and Australia for after that.
We are open to anywhere, either villa and hiring a car to do sight seeing or more of a resort/kids club feel.
Anyone have any recommendations of good long haul holidays with little ones in the April break?

I wouldn’t go to Jamaica again. Felt very unsafe outside of the hotel.

We did Thailand in the same school holiday period and it was fantastic. Look carefully at the weather patterns for different parts and I would avoid the north then as it’s burning season.
