Finding holidays with entertainment

A family holiday for us would consist of fit nearly 60 husband, me physically impaired and our young adult daughter with intellectual disabilities.

I don’t want an adult only holiday. To me without children a hotel is lifeless. Hotels that worked for us , all inclusive in Turkey. Very big hotel but the insects in the sand ate me alive! But the animation team were amazing. Think they picked up on DD having additional needs and they really looked after her. Every day team games in the swimming pool.

Brac in Croatia . Assess to sea impossible for me. Nearest village shuttle bus away. Was able to get in the sea at village. Entertainment at hotel outstanding. The entertainment team worked so hard and made something out of nothing every night. We like games and quizzes.

This is our check list

Not excessive hot , we’re blonde pale skinned.
No to sand insects, I react badly to bites.
Direct access to beach. Reasonable flat
proper family room with a proper bed not a sofabed
Daytime and or evening entertainment program. Dont like solo singers crooning or pianists
We like to sit outside for breakfast
yoga or pilates for husband

Where do you suggest we try ?

You need a big hotel aimed at British families, probably all inclusive.

Look on Jet2 or Tui at the ones labelled family.
I'd look at Spain, Canaries or Balearics rather than Greece or Turkey.

Resorts I have been to that tick those boxes are Playa Blanca Lanzarote, Puerto Del Carmen Lanzarote, Calla Millor Mallorca, Alvor Portugal, Santo Tomas Menorca,Costa Adeje Tenerife.

Tui Blue would fit the bill.

The entertainment programme and staff at Mitsis Selection Laguna were brilliant.

@Forgottenmyphone tripadviser reviews look fantastic! Which tour operator did you fly with?

We didn’t book flights with a tour operator as they didn’t have any at a convenient time at our nearest airport. We booked the hotel with Tui.

Seaside Los Jameos may work. Not sure about the beds in family rooms, but good entertainment, close to beach, daytime exercise programme, tables outside at restaurant and excellent food, in Lanzarote so doesn't reach ridiculous temperatures normally.
