Just arrived home from Stella Palace in Crete and had a lovely time.

The kids loved it so much they want to come back next year, however we prefer to travel to different places but now wondering where we should book next year that’s similar?

5* if possible, ideal for 8 & 11 year olds, all inclusive.

What was it that you liked about Stella Palace?

if it was the waterslides, then there are lots of options in Turkey which might fit the bill if you’d be open to Turkey

We liked the service, a la carte restaurants and the waterpark.

Not a fan of Turkey but would consider elsewhere

Oooh we’re looking at SP for next year, having never done an all inclusive. Can I ask what room you went for? Having my kids in the same room as me is not my idea of fun but I see they do kind of two room options?

Atlantica Aegean Blue is similar, especially in terms of dining as it has Asian, Greek and Italian a la cartes like Stella Palace.

We went to Aegean Blue last year and Stella Palace this May. We loved both. I would say the food and drink quality are better at Stella Palace, if that is important to you. The buffet at AB was manic and not relaxing.
AB is in a lovely location next to the mountain, but the beach is rocky, although there is a great sandy one a short drive away (we hired a car). The standard of rooms are similar and the service is great. The entertainment at AB is very low key though, visiting acts such bands, singers, acrobats one night - SP was better for that too.
We also loved Letoonia in Fethiye which is a beautiful spread out resort with great food options and waterslides into the sea.
Liberty Lykia also looks good and is on my list.
We are going to Majorca next year bed and breakfast for something different so we aren't trying to compare it to SP!

We loved it so I would highly recommend it!

We had a family room, lovely new rooms with lots of space. The kids loved the look of the shared pool rooms, admittedly us too and I’ve priced those up around 5.5k for next June with Jet2.
