October trip to Seville with teens

Seville has been on my list for a long time and we're planning a trip for half term. Thinking of a week with mix of culture, mooching around, a couple of day trips by train (Cadiz, Cordoba..) and hopefully some time playing tennis / swimming etc.

Please share hotel ideas and any top tips or 'must-dos'.

DH would rather do a week's inclusive somewhere, but the rest of us all want to explore and so hoping to find a nice hotel that placates DH. 😉

Another idea is a few days in Seville and then 4 days at the coast. Off to look at the map again.

Seville is my favourite city, but to be fair you won't find tennis, or big pools (vs small roof tops ones) anywhere in the city centre, which is where you need to stay to get the full experience. I'd go for say 3 nights in Seville and maybe look at Costa de la Luz where they have some fab hotels with all facilities and the beach. You can get to Cadiz from there and Jerez.
