Suggestions for Japan itinerary with teen

Looking to go to Japan next Easter with 14 year old DS. Would love some recommendations for suggested itineraries, must-see things and anything else!

3 nights in Tokyo, 5 nights in Kyoto (travel via the bullet train) and then 2 nights back in Tokyo before flying home.
In Tokyo, I’d suggest doing Disney Sea, Pokemon Centre, ninja samurai experience, Shibuya crossing, Senso-Ji,
In Kyoto, I’d do Arashiyama bamboo forest, philosopher’s path, two separate day trips to Osaka (for the cup noodle factory, Dontonburi and Universal), Kinkaku-ji, and Fushimi shrine.
