Spain - Villa holiday areas for family

Hi,

we have recently come back from nerja in Spain, about 40 mins for Malaga airport. it was perfect as a shortish flight, and everything from old town/restaurants/beach/shops etc was walking distance from the villa so no car was needed

we are wanting a similar place for next year if anyone has any recommendations for areas? I literally have no clue, we got nerja as a recommendation but we like to go somewhere different

I know chances are with a villa it’s harder to find things within walking distance. Nerja was really family oriented, no hen or stags dos etc so it was lovely for the little kids too.

Cambrils is very family oriented and has an attractive old town.

I absolutely love Begur and you have a choice of gorgeous beaches nearby plus older hilltop towns and Roman ruins. Only place I've been back to more than once.

Not far from Girona but you can also fly into Barcelona.
