Will a fjords cruise in July be full of children?

I want to do a cruise with DH in July - but worried it will be packed with children.

Should we leave it until the spring, or will it be okay?

I know of a family of four with young children going on a fjords cruise in the summer holidays, so possibly. If you book beginning of July you should be ok (apart from children from other countries who have holidays earlier). Most school holidays in this country only start 18th July.

depends on the cruise. If you go on Royal Carribean or P&O etc then probably. Silversea, Seabourn, Cunard etc less so

Also if early July out of Southampton then the school holidays wouldn't have started yet

You can book cruises that are child free . Some cruises are limited to over 18s some to 0ver 50s

Unfortunately the only ones that are available for the dates we have free are in school time and not on the adults-only ships. Maybe I'll leave it until next spring...

Go adults only if you’re worried about kids. P&O have adults only cruises to the Norwegian Fjords this July https://www.pocruises.com/find-a-cruise/R414/R414 and I’m sure that other cruise liners will do too. That way you’re not risking lots of kids being about.

Thanks @JennieTheZebra - I've seen that one but was hoping for a 7 day cruise as DH hasn't cruised before and might hate it... :D
