DD went on a cruise with her aunt this summer on a Royal Caribbean ship and she absolutely loved it. She made some great friends and did loads of on board stuff. She would really like to cruise again next summer but it's not my sort of holiday really. However someone suggested that I go with her on a quilt cruise which probably still wouldn't be my thing but does have the opportunity to do some quilting which is my thing. There is one next summer to Iceland which is somewhere that we would both like to visit but it's on Holland America which seems to be a much older crowd and doesn't have all the 'fun' activities on board that Royal Caribbean has. It would be in July which is school holidays pretty much all over Europe so I'm hoping there would be more families than usual, but still not much in the way of activities although they do have a teen club with its own area.
Anyone done it? Would you recommend it?
