Canary Islands - Princess Yaiza or GF Victoria? Which is the better hotel for young families?

We've previously stayed at the Princess Yaiza in Lanzarote and loved it, but now looking for a change. I've heard good things about the GF Victoria but the rooms don't look as spacious as the interconnecting suites at Yaiza and wondered overall, which hotel was ultimately better for young families? Thank you

Did you ever visit the GF Victoria - we are in the same boat here! We have been to Yaiza twice and looking for soemthing different..

Hey! Yes I did twice and loved it! In the end I preferred it to Yaiza. :-)

Okay brill thanks - why did you prefer to Yaiza?? What’s the surrounding area like? We like to eat out of the hotel a few nights 😄

I preferred the pools. One kids pool for younger kids and then a family pool for all ages (my favourite one), loved the kids disco at night - it’s outside with seats for the parents - also lots of restaurants to walk to nearby - but book the upmarket ones in advance. The service and the rooms were nicer. Beach is about a 7 min walk v Yaiza - and I preferred the Lanzarote beach although the Tenerife one was still nice.
