Rome. So much to see, especially the classical stuff, and they will hoover up the food.
(Wouldn't Disney be all wrong for teenage boys anyway?).

Puygo · 24/06/2024 16:38

Yes I did think Disney didn’t seem right for teen boys. But wasn’t sure if the rides were worth going for?

Would suggest Rome. Disneyland Paris is not aimed really at teens and it will feel warmer in Rome.

Having been recently to both cities with our teen boys in the last two years, I’d recommend Rome over Paris.

geoger · 27/06/2024 22:47

definitely Rome! So much to see and do, great food and so very beautiful

Davros · 27/06/2024 22:47

Rome. Gladiators and all that

BathTangle · 27/06/2024 22:53

My teen boys loved both, but I would pick Rome: walkable, beautiful and more friendly than Paris!

Puygo · 28/06/2024 07:31

Thank you all. Rome it is x

Can’t go wrong with either - have fun!

Friends went to Rome in February and had decent weather during the day, think of 17-20 degrees.
They were in T-Shirts and the Italians in winter coats.

Italy for the food with teenage boys. Pizza, pasta, ice cream.

Mummydoctor · 28/06/2024 10:21

What we did in Rome with teen boys - colisseum gladiator tour, open bus tour, Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, walk through the park, the Vatican, lots of ice creams, amazing food - people are very friendly and welcoming. We were there in school summer holidays and it was very very hot. February will be amazing I’m sure!

Disneyland Paris is rubbish.

Port Aventura near Salou is fantastic though. That's where I would take teens. You can stay in Salou, on the seafront. A land train runs to the theme parks. Then at night you can have dinner and drinks on the strip.

slidingdoorsmoments · 28/06/2024 11:53

Port Aventura is owned by Universal Studios, btw.

Puygo · 28/06/2024 13:07

Oh that’s a good tip re port aventura thanks
