Packing cubes

I am a big advocate for packing cubes and have been using them for a few years. But I fell foul of the 'buy cheap, buy twice' thing and have already bought twice (cheaply both times). Now that I know they will definitely get plenty of use, I'd like to buy a decent set. But it's a minefield. Can anyone recommend some which are good sizes and will last well. I have half an eye on compression ones, but wonder if they'll just crease anything. Any insights on those would be great too!

I bought Amazon basics 6 years ago.
I travel a lot, usually multi-destination tours, so they have had a lot of use.
Still as good as new.

A friend had compression cubes, & they crease clothes so badly she gave them away.

agree with amazon basics, yes they aren't anything fancy and not the nicest colours but they are durable and do the job. You can sometimes get good deals on prime day or black friday, also amazon warehouse, like new, basically sets without the packaging are slightly cheaper.

Yy to amazon basics being decent but actually I prefer slimline bags

I never found i got more clothes in my luggage with compression cubes and I fill my packing cubes so much already. There nothing to compress!!! Only exception was when I needed to take my Ds' wheelchair blanket.then it made a huge difference
