Cyprus in November

We are looking to go away in November. Around 10th/11th for 7 nights. Will have a 2.5 year old and 6 month old. What would Cyprus be like? We would be staying in paphos but jsur worried about the weather and if it will be warm enough. Don't want to go to canaries so not sure where else we could go within 6 hours.

Can anyone advise if they have been or anywhere else? Would need to be all inclusive.

I personally wouldn't go November. I've got friends living over there and the weather is very unpredictable and lots of things close down for the winter months as tourism usually decreases.

Everything closed up for winter…..swimming pools freezing cold…windy rough seas…lchangeable weather ….could be rainy and cloudy for the duration of your holiday….choose somewhere else OP

Most things will be closed on November and pools too cold to swim in. Weather could be nice but you certainly can't guarantee it. I'm afraid the canaries is your best bet for winter sun within your flight times. Or what about Cape Verde? Egypt could be ok too

Can you not go in October? I live in Cyprus in the Paphos district. November will be too cold for swimming and the nights turn chilly around then.

If you could push the flight times a little, Oman is lovely in November. Dubai would also be an option, usually about a 7 hour flight

Within 6 hours and not the Canaries, Egypt or Morocco is probably your best bet

I think early November will be fine. DP does a running event in Paphos late November every year, there's only been one year when it wasn't warm. The sea will be chilly but that wouldn't stop me going.
Paphos doesn't close down for winter unlike the east coast. We go to Paphos several times a year as have relatives there. The only months I've not visited Paphos are December-February and everything has always still been open. There's a lot of British expats there so presume that's why.

We went to Paphos Oct half term, it was boiling, 28 degrees I think. We did a day trip to Coral bay (which we hated) and it was absolutely rammed. Everything was open at that time.

@veiledsentiments I wonder if you can advise me about a nice hotel for us in early October? Fancy somewhere adult all inclusive not super swish or anything but just nice food and a local paphos vibe

veiledsentiments · 23/09/2024 20:28

Sorry @fossilgap I can’t. I live here, and haven’t stayed in any hotels. Sorry not to have been of any help. Trip advisor?
