Long winter break

I'm thinking of spending part of Jan/Feb 2025 away from the gloom of winter in UK.

Solo trip, I'll draw a map to the kitchen for DH, & find the washing machine manual before I go.

I've seen a few possibilities, but c £2,000 for 4 weeks AI seems too cheap.
Anyone done this, please ? Any idea of companies that I could look at ?

Thank you.

If you want a consistent temperature then canaries for short haul. Do you really want AI or would you prefer an apartment (maybe in a complex with pool, bar and restaurant) as even the best hotel food can get monotonous

@Lokshen Thanks for the reply.
I want an hotel, don't want the faff of an apartment.
Doesn't have to be AI, but my searches kept coming up with it.
I'm quite happy to eat out.

Never been to the Canaries, looks a possibility.

Love your UN ! My best friend's DM made the best pudding ever !

Have a look at Mercury Holidays. they do long stay holidays in the Med.

Another thread on here is mentioning Estepona, which looks rather nice.

My parents do this every year - 7 weeks in South Africa / Cape Town / driving around in Jan - feb.

They love it cheap food and wine. Fights are the most expensive item

We do something similar. However, we always find the weather in the Med and Canaries better in Nov/Dec rather than Jan /Feb. Feb is the coldest, wettest month in lots of places. If you're thinking mainland Spain make sure whatever accommodation you choose has heating as it can be surprisingly cold at night in winter. Next Jan /Feb we are thinking Canaries as I'm not up for long haul at the moment so South Africa etc is out unfortunately.
