Hi, i am wanting to book Turkey for end May school holiday next year. Hit me with hotel recommendations, 2 adults and an 8yr old who loved the pool. Needs to be a good AI, not fussed about al la carte. Hopefully not a freezing pool and ability to get a sunbed in sight of the pool. Been looking at Side and Lara Beach. Thank you! I’ve looked at so many hotels now.

Rixos premium Belek - gives free access to land of legends theme park and water park too. And free transport there and back.

One hotel i was looking at a couple of people said they thought the pools were freezing in May. Could just be them though.

Following as I am considering Turkey in October.

Sunnnybunny72 · 22/06/2024 07:25

Pine Bay Resort, Kusadadi.
The only place we ever went twice.

BlueisthenewGrey · 22/06/2024 07:53

It depends on p a decent AI in May half term you are looking at 5.5k plus. Voyage are always a good consistent brand.
Most hotels in Turkey don't have heated pools in May outside unless you are looking at the high-end resorts.

Not always. They get snow in Turkey.

Liberty hotel Lykia in Olu Deniz

Absolutely stunning location, own private water park and excellent AI

We just came back from Anda Barut in Didim. They are newly opened so had some teething issues but had an amazing time. These will be sorted by next year as they are improving day by day. Loads to do, pools were heated (even in June!), no issue with sunbeds. Plus a small amusement park in the evenings which our son loved.

We've booked the Barut Hemera, looks lovely and heard good things about the Barut hotels

@SAbs86 ive just come across your post - we’ve just booked the Anda Barut for next week. Would love your tips if you have any to share x

FoodieToo · 26/07/2024 22:54

Just back from Barut Hemera . It was nice but I think our experience was marred by the heat !
Depends on what you’re used to but I wouldn’t consider it 5 star .

DeadBod · 26/07/2024 22:54

We went to Barut Hemera in June. Lovely hotel and the food was excellent.

Funkyslippers · 27/07/2024 08:50

We went to Barut B Suites last year in Side. It was a pretty much perfect holiday. They have their own space on the beach with an AI beach bar, so no fighting for sunbeds either at the pool or beach
