CALELLA PALACE HOTEL....please will someone tell me the truth?

Is it really on the top of a steep hill?
Is it really a boring resort in July?
Please someone....just tell me the truth!!!

i've done the trip advisor/holidays uncovered/etc.etc.
however, so many conflicting opinions it's hard to tell.
one friend's stepmum said there is a hill but absolutely no problem.
however,bumped into another friend who had been booked there x 2 years ago but had been transferred to a different hotel as Calella Palace hadn't been built at the time. She said they just decided to go and look at the hotel that they'd wanted to stay in and was actually glad that they hadn't ended up there as it was up a very steep hill. HELP...I hate hills!!!
