Looking for a really nice hotel for a two night stay to celebrate a joint 18th/50th birthday in late October. As per title for area. Some along the lines of ‘Moonfleet Manor’, or something completely different!
ive priced Moonfleet but cannot justify the price tag of over 2k for the two nights / two rooms.

The Pig hotels are supposed to be wonderful, there's one near Honiton, and one on Studland Bay as well.

Burgh island is wonderful but may be more expensive

Chewton Glen - tree houses and amazing lion sculptures, crochet and outdoor pool. Walk to the beach

Second The Pig in Studland or The Priory in Wareham. I think some of the other options above like Chewton Glen are going to be above budget as well.

The Priory in Wareham is indeed lovely, never stayed but food is delicious and garden goes down to the river

The Pigs are overrated in my opinion but lots of people rave about them, again the one at Studland overlooks the sea

Summer Lodge in Evershott is also lovely and has a spa
