Upf free snacks

Insatiably hungry DS 3 who eats every ten mins (it seems), what can we take on plane/airport that is easy and upf free?
I've thought peanut butter sandwiches, cut up fruit and veg sticks? Any other ideas people have?

Crazy Jacks dried apricots, some slices of hard cheese, boiled eggs

I would avoid taking peanut butter or peanut snacks on a plane if you can in case there are passengers with allergies.

How about Babybels? Or raisins? Non-UPF snacks on the go can definitely be a challenge!

Icecreamcone100 · 19/06/2024 13:28

Homemade banana muffins, baby bel, raisins, banana pancakes, rice cakes.

HanaPales · 19/06/2024 13:30

If you want filling and upf free you might have to make them yourself. E.g. banana or pumpkin pancakes, granola bars, cheese muffins, quiche slices.
And check the bread you are using to make the sandwiches... most supermarket breads are full of upfs.

Cross post with poster above me for pancakes and muffins!

Pasta salad, cheese

Breadsticks are usually fine. Shortbread biscuits often ok too.

@HanaPales
We get one that isn't or DH makes it so that's at least sorted!

Excellent point about the peanut butter there. I also hate the stuff tbh!

Rice cakes, home made banana bread or flapjack, nakd bars, raisins, cubes of cheese

Any kind of homemade snacks, loaf cake slices, muffins, biscuits.

I would avoid dried fruit, sticky as hell and stuck on clothes when they fell down.
