Crete

I have been to Crete once and wasn’t wowed by it but would like to give it another go. We are looking for unspoilt, quiet and authentic. Does such a thing exist and where is the best area?

Sissi definitely felt authentic and is very much still a fishing village. We watched men and women pulling in the fish and cleaning them, and no surprises that the seafood we ate there was the best of the entire holiday.
