You won’t regret it! We are back in 6 weeks and my 2 who are 5 &6 are counting down the days! They have gone since being 2 & 3

Thank you for suggesting it - the DH is a lot happier in going to the Canary Islands now we have booked this hotel. He is a Cyprus fan but I wanted to try somewhere new!

We will be going in Oct half term so fingers crossed for good weather!

GF Victoria looks lovely. We had a cocktail at their rooftop bar. It's also better situated for going to the beach and shops and restaurants than your initial options.

Perfect - that's what we needed. I like to have options near the resort rather than be isolated.

Thank you - I wasn't aware of this hotel until this forum so really glad I asked the question. We have not travelled for 5 years while having both our DC so we really wanted somewhere better than average.

Hey there - I'm looking to do the same! Do you mind letting me know why the pool on the fifth floor is a good location? Can you see the sea etc? Conscious of noise at bedtimes as I have two young children. Any other tips while staying there? :-)

I will do! It seems to be very well regarded - so unless I am the exception to the rule I fully expect to have a great experience x

@Mumplestiltskin it was me who recommended pool view on the 5th floor, we could see a tiny bit of sea but not much but the view over the pool was lovely, on the other side of the hotel the rooms overlook a sort of plaza where they do the kids entertainment at night, I've read lots of people love these rooms as they can watch the entertainment from their balcony but I would have hated that! Fifth floor is the same floor as the kids splash pool and mini waterpark so a nice easy walk to there. If you join the GF Victoria Facebook group people have lots of tips and room recommendations.

Pool view on the ground floor (I think technically floor 2) is also good as you get a bigger terrace with artificial grass. Depends on the ages of the kids but was quite useful.

Thank you that’s so useful!

Do you mind if I ask a few more questions?

can you spend all day at the kids pool near the water slides or do you feel like you’re by a road away from the main area? Can you grab a beer there?

is the main larger pool, shallow and heated for 3 year olds to stand up in? I ask re heated as my five year old is autistic and sensitive to cold pools!

whats the nearby beach like? I’ve Google imaged but the hotel looks like it’s surrounded by roads?

thank you so much! X
