florence nightingale museum

has anyone been? is it worth paying sixteen pounds for?
ds has been studying florence nightingale in school, and woul love to be taken there. or is it not worth the hassle?

It is very close to other good stuff to see and do - the South Bank, London Eye, Big Ben etc. For a cheap eat in the area use the cafe in St Thomas' which is fine - it's big and good value.

Haven't been in myself, but family members have and said it was good for kids. Nightingale Statue is in Waterloo place - you can walk through St James' park to reach it from parliament square.

Went recently, mainly because we were in London anyway and ds1 was doing her at school...

I found it interesting but wished I'd gone without dh and ds2 who have very low boredom thresholds! Depends on whether your dd likes museums. They do have a worksheet they can do as they go around. But it probably only takes an hour or so to do it all - so from that pov could be viewed as expensive
