Where’s nice and warm at the end of October?

Turkey is the obvious one but where else?

We’d like somewhere warm and dry, by the sea. Warm enough to sunbathe during the day.

Would Cyprus fit the bill? Any of the Canary Islands?

Tenerife would definitely fit this bill.

Cape Verde.
I know people have mixed reviews of it but we stayed at a fantastic hotel and did a few day trips. There isn't much to do but for a week of chilling out, swimming and sunbathing its great

What are the sea and beaches like there?

Gran Canaria.

Meloneras is a nice resort. Personally I’d avoid Puerto Rico, Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles.

Las Palmas (the main town) and Puerto Mogan (little Venice) are lovely for a day trip.

Egypt or Cyprus.
Pools can be freezing at the end on October in Turkey.

Canary Islands or south of Morocco like Agadir

Yes, I stuck to the heated one when we went a few years ago. The kids didn’t seem to mind! The sea was lovely and warm though.

Yes Cyprus but would need a heated pool (sea was warmer)

Anywhere in the Mediterranean can be nice and warm at the end of October, especially with that there global warming thingy. The last couple of years have seen beach weather until around 10 November in mainland Spain and the Balearics.

The problem is that it's not all that reliable and you can also have 2-3 days of storms. If you can hold on until the last minute you might get a great deal in the Med 48 hours in advance, and if not, then a less-great deal in the Canaries. The sea will still be great in any case as it retains the summer heat for a long time, the pools not so much.

There was a lovely beach off our hotel and they had created a kind of cove for snorkelling. The sea can be rough though.
