Norfolk by train - where to?

We are trying to explore the UK a bit more and were considering going to Norfolk end of August with our six year old. We would be travelling from london by train but don't know where to go. We love Broadstairs on the south coast. Could anyone recommend somewhere similar in Norfolk? Thanks

My parents moved to Wisbech & I was a frequent visitor.

Wherever you go, at the end of August I'd recommend taking scarves & anoraks.

Cromer or Sheringham both nice resorts reachable by train from Norwich. Lovely beaches.

North Norfolk Railway starts at Sheringham

So you can carry on a bit further by steam or historic diesel train

Cromer has a great second hand bookshop with a children’s section. And crazy golf. And a pier.
