Travel kettle that works in USA

Can anyone recommend a travel kettle that I can buy here, and which actually works in the USA without taking 20 minutes to boil?

I bought this from Argos. It was fine. Took about 15 minutes to boil, but that was okay. At least I got my cup of tea each morning. Also nice to be able to have a cup of tea after a hard day's sightseeing!

Aha that's the one I'd been eyeing up... thank you will go with that. It seems they all take an age to boil.

I know what you mean about USA

The voltage on the US is lower so most electrical items do not work as well.

We always call in Wal-Mart and get the cheapest kettle usually under £20.
As another poster mentioned the American voltage is lower and a travel kettle will take forever to boil.
Also if you are staying in hotels and ask for tea in the morning, insist on the water being boiled
otherwise you will be served with warm water which for tea just doesn't work!

We bought a cheap one in Target and brought it home to use for future US trips.
