The Valentin Imperial is fabulous, we have booked to go back, also a bit cheaper and quite as good but still fab is Riu Palace Mexico. The Valentin was perfect for us.

Secrets are OK for adults only and TRS Yucatan if you can get a deal. Check out Blue Bay Travel. Nice beaches in Cancun and you can get the bus to explore a bit or just walk along the beach.
