Hi there, we would love to take our young children on a plane for the first time and have a few nights abroad somewhere with a pool in July or August but we have a tight budget. Where would people recommend looking for deals please? I don't really know where to start. Thanks

What sort of budget do you have?

I would start by looking at the cheapest flights from your closest airport

Have a look at the holiday pirates app, there's all sorts on there, lots of inspiration too

Thanks all. Not sure how feasible this is but we have approx £1600 and have a 2 and 4 year old. Thanks

I'm guessing the 4 year old isn't in school yet? If you can you'll find it's far cheaper to away before school holidays begin.
That budget is very tight though

There's some in majorca for 4 nights in July for that budget. Go to the Jet 2 website. I put in 12th July for 4 Nights from Birmingham. Look at the ones with child free places. Have a mess about with dates and airports to suit you. Any later than that will be much more expensive due to school holidays.

Have a look at Salou! Only 2 hour flight and only 15 min transfer - look at on the beach

Jet2 holidays, Easyjet holidays, TUI, Thomas Cook, on the beach, most allow you to do an open destination search rom your local airport(s) ......BUT July & August are peak season because of school holidays so if you can avoid them you'll get a lot more holiday for your money. Also, most of the Mediterranean resorts can be very hot in July / August and not always that suitable for young children.
