Long weekend in June - DH, I and 2 DD's - where shall we go ?

DD1 will be nearly 4, DD2 19 months and me 7/8 months pregnant

We aren't getting a holiday this year due to the new arrival, I have 3 days holiday to take before I leave work in July so thought we'd have along weekend away somewhere.

Lake District

Have you been MamaG ? Anywhere in particular you can recommend ?

I live here luv! Around Windermere is lovely, lots of nice walks pram friendly around the lakes, little towns to potter around in, can point you in the direction of some nice playgrounds etc

Would you want hotel or cottage?

Not fussed whether it's a hotel or a cottage as long as there is plenty to do to keep the girls occupied.

here is lovely as well... 1 mile from beautiful beach and on a working farm - we went last year with dc's similar age to yours and they loved the farm (helped collect eggs, feed the animals etc.)

and this is the one we're going to this year
