Hello, I've recently joined net mum's and was wondering if any of the members know of any inexpensive holidays for single mums

A travel agent would be your best bet - they'd be able to advise!

Well I have been to travel agents but they say we're have a look then come up with holidays over 650 quid,I was just asking if any other single mums knew of inexpensive holidays that they have been on, but thanks for Ur responce

For less than £650 you’re looking at premiere in, youth hostel, carvan park or Butlins but mostly term time for that price.

How old are your children? Does it have to be in school holidays or can it be in term time?

If you're not too fussy where you go and flexible on dates you can get a Eurocamp holiday for less than £650. A week in August starts from about £300 for the cheapest sites in cheapest level of accommodation. The end of August is generally cheaper. You'll need to factor in cost of ferry or Eurotunnel but Eurocamp offer these at discounted rate if you book it as a package.

Youth hostel is a good shout too, you could book a 2 or 4 person dorm depending on how many children you have so you're not sharing with strangers. Pick a city and go sightseeing, most have museums that are free or take a picnic and find a nice playground.

Do you have Tesco clubcard vouchers? You can swap those for hotel vouchers or attraction tickets.

Or buy a tent off marketplace and go camping?
