Suggestion for resort like Neilsons but a bit cheaper!

As the title says really, looking for a decent activity type resort like neilsons which is perfect for our family of active teens but coming in about £1k over budget for a week in the summer holidays so looking for something similar. Doesn't have to be a sport resort but need 2 rooms, decent quality, enough activities to keep teenagers engaged and not spend £££ extra on activities but also allow them some freedom & under £5k. Not fussed about AI unless food is decent and there are restaurants nearby.

I could have posted exactly this! I decided Nielsen's was a bit too expensive. However their holidays and all of the reviews sound amazing. I put a similar post on here and that's where I got the Nielsen's idea from in the first place (from 3/4 people saying how fantastic they are)

Try Club la Santa - you book accommodation with them which includes all on-site activities and then arrange your own flights. It's apartments so you can self cater or add a meal package for the buffet restaurant, or do "pay as you go" at various bars and restaurants on site.

Have a look at

Trek Adventures/Beyond beach
Nikiana Beach Club
Wildwind
Ocean Elements
Club Vass
Surf Hotel Vassiliki

These are all Greece based outfits with lots of watersports on offer, mostly in the Lefkada area (quite a few on the same beach as it’s known to be good for watersports).

You don’t have to buy a full package in the same way as MW/Neilsons. Also no tennis/cycling generally unlike neilsons (but IME it’s too hot for those in summer anyway).

I haven’t tried these but am keeping a list for when the kids are teens…

Club med
Center parcs in Netherlands, much better value than Uk and weather a bit better

We’ve just booked with alpine elements-includes activities like white water rafting, go ape, kayaking and lift passes. Cheaper than Nielsen/MW and a broader range of activities than just watersports

I came to suggest Alpine Elements too
