All inclusive recommendations with young children

I’m looking for some all inclusive recommendations. We’ve never been abroad before with DC but would like to go away next year sometime, probably summer holidays or May half term. Could anyone recommend anywhere? Few details below.

• DC’s age 2 and 8
• Somewhere well set up for young kids
• Ideally near a beach
• Short flight, I’m not a great flyer so the shorter the better (although I will suck up my immense fear of flying for somewhere good!

The Balearics are always a good bet.

I haven't done AI anywhere there - we did a villa rental in Porto Pollensa when we went with smaller dc. Having done AI over the last couple of years I would agree that it is much more of a holiday though!!

My recommendation for this sort of requirements is always Royal Son Bou Family Club, Menorca. Great set up for kids - pool areas, excellent childcare. All inclusive but all rooms are apartments with separate bedrooms and kitchens - great for snacks / milk plus makes bedtime easier. Direct access to a lovely safe beach which has good paddling and facilities. 2hr ish flight from most of the UK, plus private transfer is about 20 minutes the other end. If you book a transfer direct with the hotel, they can organise the right car seats.

If you have a decent budget I would look at Scott Dunn, they have the best kids clubs. Used them for years when my daughter (15) was younger
