Border control and settled status

Hi there,
I got married last year and had to go back home to update my passport with my new name, I picked up the new passport in April.
I have to send my passport to the Home Office so they can link my settled status with it & I haven't done that yet as I've heard that it can take 6 month - is that right?
I am going on a holiday in a month and I will take my old passport with me as well as my MC do you think that I will have any issues with border control ?

I don’t think you need to send your passport to the home office, you should be able to update the status yourself.

I’d suggest you’ll join the Forum For EU Citizens (3 million) on Facebook and ask there. There’s many knowledgeable people there.

@WhataPithy unfortunately I do as it is a surname change and I have to send mu actual passport in the post.
