Toddler Friendly (18m) resorts

We're looking to take 18m old away in July so looking for recommendations for an AI or half board hotel that's got great facilities for toddlers. He loves the pool so one that has a really good pool/toddler area is what we're after.

We've been away with him lots before but always done AirBnB's. Now he's a bit older and very active, I'm not sure a boring pool in an Airbnb is going to keep him entertained.

We do like to get out and about too (happy to hire a car) so looking for a destination that has places to go through the day and ideally somewhere nice to walk around in the evening.

Would love to get some recommendations of places you've loved.

I always recommend Royal Son Bou Family Club to families with toddlers - good pool area, great childcare, apartments work really well as you’ve got a little kitchen for snacks / milk etc., direct access to a gorgeous and very safe beach which is good for paddling. It’s a quick transfer from the airport - 20 minutes in a taxi. If you book direct with the hotel, they organise the right car seats for you.

What's your budget? School holidays or before?

Don't have a real budget in mind, just want to see what we can get but not top dollar.

Protur Bonaire or Playa Mar both Marjorca. Ideal for that age. Both close to the town. Protur Bonaire you’re steps from Cala bona harbour and playa Mar a few mins walk into puerto pollensa. Good AI food offerings (can do all boards AFAIK)

Family Hotel Amarin in Croatia is one of the best for toddlers, in my experience. There’s a soft play, crèche and two toddler pools.
