Best kids resorts and best islands

Hi there, looking to go to the Caribbean next year and wondering what the best islands and resorts are for kids we have a 1 year old a 4 year old (by the time we go)

we are currently researching St Lucia and Barbados

also what do people tend to do with sleeping as the 2 bed suites are so expensive.

Firstly find one with a decent kids club.

Two bed places are expensive, family rooms sometimes slightly cheaper with sliding separation doors or two sofa beds in a lounge area for example but I assume you need a cot for the baby.

St Lucia we absolutely loved Windjammer. Lovely, wide safe beach.

Barbados I don't have a recommendation as the place we stayed wasn't great for kids.

I'd get on Tripadvisor and look at a few with the family box ticked.
