DD is on a cruise with her aunt, my SIL. They are struggling with the food a bit and not enjoying it much. DD likes their pizza but not much else. They had dinner at Grande this evening and it was ok, but really disliked Windjammer and the main dining room. SIL said that things are bland, no taste or flavour and that the Windjammer food was also too oily.
SIL is Malaysian, so is used to really full-flavoured, delicious food in a nation that lives to eat rather than eats to live, but she's not much of a complainer usually so it must be quite bad rather than just a bit boring.
I know nothing at all about cruising but I always had the impression that the cruise lines prided themselves on the quality and abundance of their food. Is that not the case for Royal Caribbean?
