Where should we go on holiday

So I'm 58 disabled (walking sticks) due to rheumatoid arthritis. Warm weather is great for me as is swimming in a pool/the sea. My hubby is 69 he hates the thought of lying around in the heat, he doesn't swim. He would be more into culture. He also wouldn't like a long flight. Where should we go on holiday?

Bodrum: fantastic Roman remains , beautiful scenery, and sea bathing for you.
Sicily: but not until late September or October, great food and Greek, Byzantine and Roman sites, beautiful scenery.
Croatia, near Split. Similar to the above.

I mean Croatia is of course different to Turkey and Italy but it has stunning Roman remains, a beautiful coastline and scenery and appealing towns and villages.

I'm very tempted by this

But Malta is hilly and accessibility often poor, eg steep and poorly constructed ramps and big steps.

Also there are very few sandy beaches and a lot of the time you need to clamber over rocks and climb ladders to get into the sea.

Rhodes is fabulous. There’s a lot of culture to enjoy in places like Rhodes old town and Lindos. It’s a beautiful island, we hired a car and drove all over exploring. And, of course it’s lovely and warm.
