Where would you go on a family holiday for around a month?

Basically, I'm likely to have an extended period of gardening leave as a result of a rubbish time at work. My husband is a contractor so could take a break.

Our kids are ages 9 and 6.

If you had around a month to go somewhere, where would you go?

Budget... Not sure. Willing to spend a bit and we could put our place in London on Airbnb or something, but ideally not the most wxpe location as it's quite a while.

Thanks in advance for ideas. Even if we never do it it's a nice fantasy but I feel we shouldn't waste the opportunity.

New Zealand would be cold then as it's their winter. Melbourne would also be cold as it has a similar climate to NZ. Brisbane would be cold first thing and in the evening but low to mid 20C.

I took my DC at a similar age to Lake Constance & Black Forrest for 4 weeks.

They still talk about that particular holiday.

Plenty to see & do, from there we had day tips to France Swizaland and Austria.

Have fun looking into the suggestions and dreaming!
