We’ve not been abroad for a few years and want to move away from the all inclusive holiday packages now my sons are 12 & 16.
They were great when they were younger but don’t want to feel like we end up spending most of our time in a huge complex and want to get out into the main towns and explore the markets and eat out etc.
Looking for recommendations for places to go that have a good mix of shopping, places to explore, lots of places to eat out every night and not too far from a beach.
we’ve been to turkey, feurtuventura, costa dorada, all of which I’m willing to visit again as we stayed in a big complex they tend to not be that close to main towns so when we decide on a area of a country we can find accommodation close to the main town.
Anywhere in Europe I’m willing to consider. Also any tips or tricks from a self catering perspective would be great and money saving tips is even better.
