Decided we need a bit of sun next winter..where in the canaries will be decent? We are not keen on Egypt or long haul as DH is a teacher so only have a week and in the arse end of the west country so will need to fly from Bristol.
Will the canaries be ok weather or a bit rainy?

It's usually cold at night that time of year but nice during the day, high teens/low 20s. Lanzarote is lovely, also Fuerteventura

We are off to Tenerife South in December. First time, so cant say what its like, but its likely to be low 20s. Colder in the evening obviously, so will take a light jacket. Last winter the canaries were warmer than usual, so you never know. Just make sure the hotel has a heated pool.

All I want is a few days of moderate warmth and sun!! 🤞🏻

South West Gran Canaria is your best bet for sun and warmth in February. I did my research a few years ago as I also work in a school and wanted to go in half term. You may get the odd cloudy day but we’ve never had rain and it’s always warm. Check out Puerto Rico/Amadores area or Puerto de Mogan which is a gorgeous resort.
