Gite/ villa booking

For years Chez Nous was my go-to booking site for French holidays but it was a casualty of COVID.
is there another site that lets you search by region, book direct and isn’t massively expensive? I’m finding Vrbo and booking.com much harder to use without a set destination in mind.
Alternatively, does anyone know of a decent 6 person villa/ gite in southern or western France at a reasonable price in August, with a pool?

Bookings have been slow in my area this year, probably because of the weather, so you should be able to find something.
