Driving in France with Hertz

I've never driven abroad before but will be doing so next week, I. France.

I know when driving in France you need two have yellow vests for whoever is in the car and a warning triangle.

We are flying and then renting a car from Hertz. I've tried to contact them about whether they provide these items as part of the booking or whether we're meant to bring them, but the answer they gave was a bit garbled and was basically 'we don't know, contact the booking office' (in France).

Does anyone have any experience and know the answer to this before I spend a fortune calling the French office? I asked around friends and got a mixture of answers. Sixt specify on their website that they do provide these items but can't find it anywhere on Hertz.
