I'm trying to book a short break on the 3rd of June last min for 5 days with my husband and 3 kids all under 5 in the UK
I'm looking for suggestions on places to go and what's more child friendly.
We're not interested in Butlins.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I've looked at lots of places but wondering if anyone has any better suggestions.

Will be our first holiday with 3 children

Three under five - I'd go to a traditional bucket and spade resort and pray for good weather. Caravan on a site with facilities?

Can you narrow down the area so people can suggest places to stay?

I live in Suffolk so I want something up to a 5 -7 hour drive away from our home.
I was thinking Scotland as I'm Scottish but can't rely on the weather. I'm not really bothered how far away it is as we are used to long drives .

Your radius would probably include as far as Cornwall and West Wales, the entire south coast and northwards as far as south Scotland.

What type of accommodation do you prefer? Coast or country?

Bluestone in wales
I'd reconsider butlins, Bognor, stay in the hotel. My kids have literally been all over the world but it's still bloody butlins they talk about.
Whitecliff bay holiday park, IoW. Always feels like a 'proper' holiday because of the ferry

Hotel or self catered?

This is a lovely caravan park in Dumfries and Galloway which is the total opposite to Butlins. There is a great pub called The Anchor within walking distance in the village of Kippford .

Whitecliff Bay on the IOW is amazing. I went when I was young & still remember it as my favourite childhood holiday. Lots ot do on the island too

I think 5 days is a long time especially as you are wanting a UK holiday with kids all 5 and below.

Any beach resort for 2 nights is enough. I was going to suggest Portugal but then I read again. I dis Skegness and it was more for little ones the beach is good if you get the weather!
