October - recommendations

We are considering taking our children on a holiday in October half term. We have a 4 and 3 year old.

Ideally we would like somewhere with sandy beaches so we can play and dig, warm enough pools and enough nice weather to be able to be at the pool and beach but not burning hot.

Does anyone have any suggestions of places or even specific resorts please?

Lanzarote, Alicante, Fuerteventura are great options for that time of year, the peak season has died down so it's cheaper but still lovely and warm, plenty to do, very family friendly, pretty reasonable in terms of price

Cyprus

Playa Blanca in Lanzarote.. lovely beaches, good restaurants and lots of hotel/Villa options.

Kos or Rhodes are our go to places for October half term. Yes it gets dark earlier, but the temperatures are still high and the sea temperatures are lovely.

Canaries would be your best bet.
