Isle of wight hotel recommendation?

I am hoping to take DH for a surprise trip to the Isle of Wight as he hasn't been since he was a child.
Does anyone have any great hotel recommendations? Or even self catering with a pool or hot tub?

If you look on the website of The Hut (lovely restaurant), they have some recommendations.

Don't know if The George in Yarmouth is still good, but it used to be lovely.
