Tell me about the best campsite/ holiday home in The Vendee?!

We like Club les Brunelles because it’s walking distance from the beach and centre of the local town, plus it has everything the kids could possibly wish for! If you’re looking for something a little quieter, chilled and upmarket, then definitely Camping La Foret.

We like Le Clarys Plage, it is quite lively and only a few minutes walk from the beach. Depends how old your children are though and what you're looking for, big and busy or small and peaceful, walking distance from town and beach or more rural?

La Garangoire. If you can get a pitch - people book for the next year as they are leaving. The beach at Dunes 2 at Bretignoles is fab. People go year on year. Huge pitches, tons of activities.

Years ago we went to le clary’s plate..very nice.

Stayed here a good few years ago, lovely setting in the pine forest. Stayed at others but can't remember the names. Often used to book direct with French sites depending on their school hol dates as used to work out cheaper.
