Does Disneyland Paris ever get full?

Hi,

We'll be in Paris over the Summer and were thinking of going to go to DLP. I was hoping to go on a sunny day so I'm a little reluctant to book in advance for this reason. I have tried to find information about whether the park gets full, and if so, on what days and dates but to no avail. Does anyone know if it would be a risky strategy? There is only one particular day we would be looking at so it's not as if we could try the following day if it didn't work out. We wouldn't be in Paris over the Olympic or Paralympic Games.
I'm aware it is possible to book ahead and cancel closer to the day but we happen to have vouchers which I'm not sure entitle us to a cancellation so I'd rather not run the risk.

Thank you.

I went in August three years ago and it was pretty full, queues of 45 minutes for most rides. It was very hot as well. I didn't have a great time but the kids still absolutely loved it and don't remember the queuing misery!

Oh and that was a Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Yes it does, in the summer holiday you will often see these barriers with at capacity signs.

We went last week of August; yes it was busy and sunny. Yes there were queues but it was not rammed and certainly nothing like the recent photos from Florida at Spring Break.

Its also way more likely this summer as the Olympics and paralympics will mean there'll be lot more tourists around

If you really want to go book a day. It's a risk you take with theme parks that the weather won't be good. In your shoes I would not risk them selling out.

If it helps at all I've been to DLP on a very wet day and we just accepted our fate, got waterproof ponchos and carried on, didn't spoil it at all!

Do check but as far as I know you can't buy tickets at the gate - they must be bought in advance. I'd just book and take appropriate rain gear if necessary! We had an extremely wet day in September (and some extremely hot days) - take proper rain coats and waterproof shoes/wellies, spare socks. I was drying our shoes in the toilets 😅

You can generally cancel until 3 days before. I’m not if it’s only Disabled tickets that can be bought at the gate. And yes it does sell out.

EmilyBronte82 · 15/05/2024 07:29

This link says they’re not available at gate

Thank you everyone, this is very helpful. I shall book tickets then to be on the safe side!
