Changing room type package holiday

Hi

Sorry if this seems like a silly question but I booked a package holiday a few days ago and think we may need a one bedroom apartment rather than a studio. I can see on their website they have them available. Am I best just emailing the hotel to upgrade or will Hays holiday company who we booked it with need to do it? Will it cost ammendant fees as well as cost of bigger room? Thank you in advance, I haven’t been abroad for years so not sure about all this. Xx

I would contact Hays and ask them - there will likely be an amendment fee but I don’t know Hays policies super well so don’t know how much or if this is ever waived
