Currently planning a low key week in a villa in Greece in July. Paxos is looking like a promising option at the moment but keen to hear first hand reports. Not after beaches but definitely enjoy pretty villages, boat trips in turquoise waters and nice restaurants/tavernas.
My biggest concern though is wasps. We had an amazing fortnight in Kefalonia a few years ago but the wasps were horrendous and we all got stung. Has anyone been to Paxos at in July? How was it? I've heard that Corfu is bad due to the fruit trees but that Paxos are a mainly olive groves.
The alternative is Paros which I think is less likely to have wasps but logistics of flying to Mykonos, wind and cost and availability of accommodation is making me lean towards Paxos at the mo.
